Wouldn't that introduce a new issue on the use case where the enchanter has its bags full?
I don't know (I haven't tested that), just guessing here, but if that's the case, the normal behaviour should be to let the materials stay on the container until the enchanter picks it up so he can make space on his bag if they are full.
