Not visible

I tried installing the plugin by dragging it to the MySimbl and also installing it via the tool itself but I don't see any volume-bar after installing it.

I have issues with CleanHUD overlay other statusbar app

Recently I use Vanilla from matthewpalmer. Here is his website https://matthewpalmer.net/vanilla/

This app help hiding the statusbar icon so it will look clear. But the problem is when it hides the icon, it also hides the HUD too. So there is overlay problem here. I wonder if you can fix this or make an option allow to move the HUD to some where else on the bar.

Colors of HUD are inversed in macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I just updated to High Sierra and now notice that cleanHUD looks different; with colors that are inversed. They have have a dark black background with white elements. (It no longer has that nice translucency that blended into the menubar.) And cleanHUD is the only element that looks different. (I have not enabled Dark mode.)

Hi, does cleanHUD require any other permission in addition to OSDUIHelper.app to function?

I seemed to have disabled something and cannot troubleshoot it.

When a key is not released the progress bar doesn't work

If I maintain pressed down the bright or volume key the progress bar doesn't work as expected.

I'm on macos 10.12.4

the HUD color should be inverted when using black menu bar

Thanks for making such a great plugin.

However, I think it would be better to automatically swap progresColor and emptyColor when using black menu bar.
Current progressColor is not visible when using black menubar.

cleanHUD not showing on macOS 10.15.3

Hi, I bought cleanHUD and it shows as being installed in MacForge. I have taken the advice on the System tab on MacForge (see screenshot). There is nothing showing on my status bar. Do I need to do anything else to activate it?

When the background is black I don't know where is the bar

Maybe a white transparent background for the progress bar should be fine

Customize icons based on audio route

I’m not sure if it’s possible to detect this perfectly but a name-based check would be cool as well — showing e.g. the AirPods icon for when adjusting output volume for AirPods, and a generic headphone/speaker icon when adjusting output volume for the headphone jack. This way I could see at a glance which audio output is currently being used. This would also better match the iOS UI.

bug when volume is adjusted again after the slider has started fading away

when I do this, the following happens:

• the slider abruptly disappears
• on the next volume change, the slider may briefly flicker on the screen, which is fixed when volume is adjusted yet again. this doesn’t always happen; when trying to reproduce it, it happened about once every ten times (for no obvious reason, at least to me)

the expected behaviour (compared to the way the normal volume overlay works) would be for it to go back to 100% opacity immediately when volume is adjusted again.

I’m using macOS 11.2, macforge 1.1.0, cleanHUD 0.11.2 and the iOS style slider (but the macOS style slider appears to do the same)

Not visible on Catalina

i am on OS 10.15.1, and cleanHUD isnt showing up, it works but there is no visual indicator. I am running cleanHUD version 0.7.2

Update for dark mode?

Having the bar white and the menu dark breaks the 'cleanness' of the whole look. Great tweak btw

Edges of indicator bar appear soft/faded

Hi, I'm running a clean install of Sierra (10.12.6 + security updates) with mySIMBL (0.5.3) and CleanHUD (0.5.2). As described in the title (and shown below), the edges of indicator bar appear soft/faded, especially compared to the 'filled' bar edges. This was not the case on my previous system, ElCap with CleanHUD 0.4.3.

Is this intentional, or is this a result of adding Dark Mode support?

Edit: The indicator bar edges appear the same (faded) in both Dark & Light mode.
