windows_hardening's Issues

Cannot logon to administrator account after hardening

Use _administrator to log on instead.

It is because username administrator is changed to _administrator after hardening (likewise for guest account)

This is specified in windows_hardening\files\localComputer.inf. If desired, it can be unset.

Error - "Chef Infra Client cannot execute without accepting the license"

If you encounter the error Chef Infra Client cannot execute without accepting the license while executing chef-apply, solve it by running the below command to set the environmental variable before executing chef-apply:

• set CHEF_LICENSE=accept
