Hello! I'm Wei En, a recent graduate from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. My current interests lie towards building robust and efficient machine learning methods, especially in limited data regimes, as well as integrating aspects of deep learning theory into practice.

Outside of research, I take an avid interest in open source software engineering and am also passionate in education initiatives targeted at improving access to opportunities for the less privileged. In my free time, I like to brew a fresh cup of coffee/tea and listen to music!

Update for Pandoc 2.x

Hi @wei2912 , I saw your question on #hakyll after you had already left, and this seemed like the easiest way to respond. Your errors are caused by upgrading from Pandoc 1.x to Pandoc 2.x. On the following line you want to change S.insert to enableExtension:

Shift from Netlify to GitHub Pages

GitHub Pages won't charge me if I blow any caps, and I doubt I'll be likely to. Besides, Cloudflare + GH Pages would probably work better than Netlify CMS IMO, as I'm already building the website on GitHub Actions rather than Netlify CI.

Also I doubt I would need deploy apps for my blog.

Plaintext here should be ciphertext.

Rework excerpts to have Markdown support

Excerpts of articles (which are currently displayed on the home page) are planned to be lengthier and kept separate from the main article. To aid with that, a robust system that supports Markdown generation of excerpts and automatic incorporation into the homepage is required. Such a system would also help with the creation of email digests.
