challenges's Introduction

Getting Your Hands Dirty With Ruby

This repo contains challenges from the West Michigan Get Your Hands Dirty With Ruby meetup group. We're gathering them in a single location to encourage further collaboration for the benefit of all. This is a work in progress and will be updated and expanded as needed/requested.

challenges's Issues

Set agenda for next meetup

@billgathen @walsh1kt Are there any modules we want to add here before next meetup? Anything that should be brushed up? What will people be working on as far as training next time up?

Another concern: we have walkthroughs for some of the modules, but not challenges persay. I liked how we had timed challenges for all of the sections thus far. Seems like it would be cool to do with some of the newer material/documentation as well.

Desperate need of deployment help

@WestMichiganRubyTraining/members
I'm trying to get a workflow down for Capistrano deployment. I've been working on this for probably 50-60 hours and have hit so many snags. I can't even describe the frustration. If there would be anyone gracious enough to walk me through a Capistrano deployment in person, I would be eternally grateful. I'm not above bribery here folks. I know your time is worth something and I am desperate. Just name it: beer, food, money, a favor, I will be happy to compensate you in any way you want!

How to structure docs?

Moving this discussion from the pull request into a dedicated location.

What should we rename the repo to? What belongs in it? Is it our official ruby information source?

Challenges refactoring?

@WestMichiganRubyTraining/owners I would like to work on a git challenge section, as our current git folder is just an (awesome) tutorial.

Anyone interested in working on developing a multi-level challenge with me? Preferably, I'd like to get something up before next meeting.
