@neodani I was able to resolve this by copying the contents of the "dist" dir into the destination, as opposed to the content of the entire repo.

Same here, was able to add it but got then different error

Can you check the full response you get from New Relic? You should be able to find it in your network tab.

Hi,

I copy the contents of the "dist" into the destination /usr/share/grafana/public/app/plugins/datasource/newrelic/ and restart grafana.

However something still going wrong.

When I put aplication ID (in newrelic tab APM, I select one of them) and I put the aki key (I sure the api key works fine, because through curl works apikey) I recive the following error.

Unknown error
New Relic Error: undefined

I look the aplication ID in the correct side, isn't it?

grafana.log not show any message.

I made it!

My problem was the api key. New Relic has somes api keys, I was using the incorrect api key incorrect.
https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/apis/rest-api-v2/requirements/api-keys

To extract application ID I used
https://rpm.newrelic.com/api/explore/applications/list

Same error here (New Relic Error: undefined) with Firefox. I can create the datasource with Chrome, no joke ;)
