Picturesize not adjusting

Bug or feature ? ;-) Pictures keep their original dimensions. Bad, because there are a lot of different screen resolutions on player devices. I would suggest to make it configurable that pictures keep their size or will fit to screen.
Check it with the "Wherigo Testsuite" > Item "Picturesize"

Dialog terminates when back is clicked

Dialogs or messages will be terminate if the back button of the player is clicked. Not good on dialogs which appear e.g only 1 times. The player clicks unintended and the dialog has gone. Check it anywhere where a message is available, then click the back button.

where can I get this player?

I do not find it in any store.

GPS signal not recognized

If GPS is off BEFORE starting a cartridge and then turned on WHILE playing, no GPS fix follows. Check it with the wherigo testsuite : Turn off GPS, start the cartridge, use the item "Set PlayerZone" > Set the zone ... the online check starts...now turn GPS on. The online check functions stays in a loop. Also the new item "Standort" shows an unknown location.

Timerevent "On Start" doesn't work

A timer from type intervall doesn't fire if an action is in the On Start event. Check it with the "Wherigo Testsuite" > Item "Phone 1"

Timer pauses while standby mode

When tipping on/off button and switch screen off (standby), a running timer stops. Check it with Wherigo Testsuite > Item Phone 1(or 2 or 3) > Let it ring > tip on/off button on your device, ringing stops.

WF.Player sometimes crashes (hard)

At start of a cartridge or while running the wf.player gets a blank screen, only with title (see pic attached). The player don't respond. After killing the task it is not possible to start again.The blank screen will be shown again. Only after rebooting the device the wf.player can be started again. It happens on different cartridges at different points. So its not possible that a certain cartridge is the reason.

Unfortunately not to check and nothing informative things in the logfile. How about a continously written debugfile ? It happens not so rarely, I would say on 10 playerstarts it crashes in 2 or 3 cases.

Editfield gets no focus

An input requires that the player has to click into the editfield. Check it with the "Wherigo Testsuite" > Item "Inputs"

GPS will not be disabled when finishing app

GPS should be disabled (or set to the state when starting the app).
So GPS remains switched on what is not what the user expects.

Intervalltimer does not stop

If an intervall timer is started, it can not be stopped in its own cycle. Known issue on garmin (its always better stopping with another event), but some players work with it. Check it with the "Wherigo Testsuite" > Item "Timertests" > Count

Background shortly flashes

Background shortly flashes between 2 messageboxes. On multimessages or dialogs the backgound very shortly flashes between 2 messages. Check it with the "Wherigo Testsuite" > Item "Tools" > Background flashes

Edit field not recognized as edit field on Android

When playing a WIG it is not obvious where the Edit-Field is on a input dialog. It is not really good visible.
