Team's Response

Thank you for the bug report!

We did not add the term "remote server" into our glossary as we use it in our DG to specify that our application should not depend on it, if a developer does not know what the term "remote server" means, the developer probably does not use a remote server. We also think it is a pretty common term so there's no ambiguity to what it means and adding it to our glossary is not necessary.

❓ Issue response

  • I disagree

Reason for disagreement: I disagree. Even though the application does not depend on it, anything unclear in the NFR should not be left out of the glossary. Moreover, there are many different types of remote servers, each with their own unique characteristics.

Relating to the help feature, the application clearly lists out a link that can be accessed for the user to display the user guide. This can be argued as a use of a remote server, and as such, the term remote server should be defined.
