symposium-2020's Issues

Use either Yarn or npm

This repo currently has a Yarn yarn.lock file and an npm package-lock.json file; these lockfiles are not compatible. Also, both have been recently updated with conflicting changes.

The Dockerfile currently uses Yarn, so I'd suggest only using Yarn. Alternatively, switch over to npm entirely, including the Dockerfile.

SVG Logo not rendering properly

The logo of the symposium should render as follows:

But currently, the SVG file renders in this way:

The reason for this is that the browser does not recognize the required font (Amdale Mono). We have tried several approaches: defining the font within the SVG file but to no avail. It only works if the font is installed locally.

Fix docker container

Currently, the docker container is broken since the last deployment. The container has been attempting to start for the last 5 days without success, flooding the reporting tool with messages. It seems like no-one is monitoring that channel, so I'm letting you know here.
