  • Data from Kaggle and Cooper Union
  • Originally scraped from Edmunds and Twitter
  • Most recent data is from December 2016 (Model year 2017)
  • Note: dataset contains the three most recent years of data on each car model. Thus, for cars currently in production there will only be data for the 2015-17 model years.

Problem Statements

  • What factors matter most when buying a car?
  • How much are you paying for certain brand names alone?
  • Can you accurately predict the price of a car based on specs?
