Love Couple is an Among Us modification, which adds a new win condition for two randomly chosen players.

What does the Love Couple do?

The primary objective of the Love Couple is to stay alive together. If they are among the last 3 players they win. Each lover can win as an Impostor or Crewmate as well (secondary objective) for which reason both lovers do not know each other's role.

Additional Features

• Both lovers die together option can be set
• Both lovers can chat during the game
• Playable on public Among Us servers
• Custom server regions to join private servers

Installation

• Download the Mod for your specific game version. You are not able to launch the game if the versions do not match.
• Make a copy of your game’s root directory (Steam/steamapps/common/Among Us) and rename it to whatever you want (Steam/steamapps/common/Among Us Love Couple Mod)
• Extract the content of Among Us Love Couple Mod.zip into the copied folder you created
• Open your modded folder and open the Game via Among Us.exe

Q&A

How is the Love Couple determined?
There are two types of Love Couples. With a probability of 66.6% the pair consists of two Crewmates.
The second type occures with a chance of 33.3% and pairs an Impostor with a Crewmate.

What does happen in this situation (Imposter + Crewmate, Impostor, Crewmate)?
The game does not end. Depending on the next kill the Love Couple or Impostors win

Can you play Proximity Chat (Crewlink) with it?
Yes Crewlink does support Among Us Modifications.

Can you get banned for playing on public servers?
At the current state of the game there is no perma ban system. The mod is designed in a way, that it does not send prohibited server requests. You are also able to join your own custom server to be safe (Impostor)

How can i join a custom server?
Go to your game directory and open BepInEx/config/org.bepinex.plugins.CustomServer.txt. There you can set the hostname or IP of the server. Then set the server region to CUSTOM.

Do my friends need to install the mod to play it together?
Yes. Every player in the game lobby has to install it.

Lover Chat

All players can see the messages sent by the couple during the game when we arrive at the meeting. Maybe you can send message in the death chat or create a new chat ?

What rly did charm me about these mods that I rly loved playing town of salem back in the day , Sherif / Doc / Mayor / jester did rly fit in among us and I'm sure the other roles will fit here too , no one barely uses 3 imposters mod cuz it's too difficult for the crewmates , but what if not all the imposters can kill ? Janitor that have "Clean" button to remove bodies from the existance or u can leave the blood on the ground but not the body . one of the 3 imposters can be a serial killer who can only see his name in Red , imposters who try to kill the serial killer can't do it and their Kill button will go on cooldown , they will know that's the SK and try to convince the crewmates that it's that guy the SK without showing his is Imposter , Investigator that can see people's footprint left for the previous 30 sec , SPY that get access to cameras , vitals anywhere from the map , It's these kind of stuff that can be game changing to offer an amazing experience for the player , If you can pull these off into one mod I will make sure to print ur name in every community I have access to , Me and all my friends and community already apprecicate all the effort you and your team are doing for us

Can't play

I can't launch the game, after the IntrocCutScenePath I get a black screen during the whole game.

Step to repro:
Launch the game with your mod and the last publication of your mod.

Compatibility with mods ?

I know that it is surely not for you to do it, and I do not know if it is possible, but this mod does not allow any compatibility with the others, every time I have a black screen even with your old one sheriff mod (ps: your lover mod is really cool, but without being able to add another mod it quickly becomes boring)

Setting up several of your mods together

Hi !

I'm kind of unexperienced in terms of how mods work, but I wanted to try and merge the Couple Lover Mod with the Sheriff Mod for some games with my friends (and maybe merge some more together in order to have spicy games in the future). But I have no idea how to do that, could you provide a solution (if they are indeed compatible). I have already tried brutally creating a repository with all files from both mods, but as expected since most files share a common name between both mods, it doesn't work.
