powerfull commandline search and replace tool.

| installation

 preplace can be run from every place, but it is suggested to copy
 it to a directory which is in your $PATH.

| usage

 see --help for brief usage details.

 preplace is a python script and uses the 're' module for search 
 and replacing. the first pattern is the search part, the second one
 the replace part.
 e.g.
    preplace 'foo' 'bar'
    preplace '(blue|white|red)' 'color'
    preplace '(#include +)<([^>]+)>' '\g<1>"\g<2>"'
    ...

| configuration file

 preplace try to read configuration from $HOME/.preplacerc, unless
 you use the --config parameter.

 the configuration file supports at the moment the following options:
    EXCLUDES = [list of strings]
    INCLUDES = [list of strings]
 e.g.
    EXCLUDES = ['*svn*', '*.o', '*.a', '*.pyc']
    INCLUDES = ['*.cc'. '*.hh', '*.hxx']

 you can use normal python syntax, e.g. list comprehensions.
