xake's Issues

xake -j 4

xake -j 4

has some unexpected behaviour (at least from my point of view)

in the repo:

https://github.com/mooculus/calculus

this had trouble compiling

coverArt/calculusA2/theCover.tex

this is because it couldn't find the pdf's (that were there until "xake -j 4" was run) required to compile theCover.tex

In short, xake -j 4 seems to be removing compiled documents...

MathJax 3 and Xake

It seems that an incompatibility of current definition of \answer AND \[ \] are blocking our deploy with a more recent version of TeXLive -- 2019 is OK, 2023 is not.

Perhaps these links will help:

https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/565039/tex4ht-does-not-handle-ifdefined-hcode-in-mathjax-mode

https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/620104/error-using-ifdefined-hcode-with-tex4ht-but-it-works-in-luatex?rq=1

https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/638304/tex4ht-no-longer-process-some-math-what-is-the-cause?rq=1

At this point all issues but answer may be fixed....

tikzcd

Xake does not compile commutative diagrams. Could you include \usepackage{tikz-cd}?
Thank you
Anna

No underscores in xake name

If there are underscores in the name of the ximera repo (xake name ***), the page won't serve.

I'm not sure whether this is intentional, so either allowing it as a valid name or a note on the readme indicating the rules might be helpful.

Go version and libgit2.pc

Just an fyi, on Ubuntu 16.04 the default apt-get install for go is version 1.6 which returns a "context" error. Updating to 1.8.3 fixed the problem, but you have to do it manually either by downloading the tar or adding an unofficial repo.

After I got that to work however, I am now getting the following error on the go get . command:

~/go/src/github.com/ximeraproject/xake $ go get .
# pkg-config --cflags libgit2
Package libgit2 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libgit2.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libgit2' found
pkg-config: exit status 1

Not sure what this is, or where I should find it. Continuing to look into it but I figure if I have the problem, others will too. Will update if I find a solution.
