Suggestion: for the iridium piledriver, increase the impact splash radius by 1-2 tiles or reduce the number of girders that they cost. Just finished getting my base upgraded for SE0.6 and the increased cost of iridium has made piledrivers too expensive for what they do.

Iridium Piledrivers are just too expensive period.
By the time you can make them easily you can also just make nukes instead.

If you increased the radius 1.5x it would increase the area 2.25x, and it would still be much smaller than a nuke. It could still serve its purpose but also be a bit more valuable when auto-target puts it on a big base
Or just reduce the girder cost further

option for non-K2 icons in K2 games

icons from SE/AAI that are replaced per default with K2 versions, like sand or plates (suggested by Ray1claw)

steel casting not really worth it

Steel casting compared to steel from iron plates is not really worth it and actually worse in end game (this is because from plates it allows for prod modules):

with prod 1

with prod 3

with prod 6

All those images are with halved molten (the change from this mod, so just double that number for vanilla; doesn't affect the balance I'm talking about) and with the casting recipe for the iron plates, which then (as mentioned earlier) allows for a prod step in the plate + coke -> steel recipe.

The other recipe is the steel casting and molten + coke -> steel ingot -> plate which doesn't have a prod step.
