How do I change the source code to work with my OnePlus 8 pro?

The title says it all. I would like to be able to do it on the phone itself without using a computer. I've been trying to compile the source code folder back into an apk after I've changed it but no luck. Any help would be great.

Any idea how to implement this feature in my personal custom rom? I have been trying to add a lift to wake functionality in my rom but couldn't and now I found this app and tested works good.

Now I want to use this code in my ROM but without the app (I will give all credits to you obviously) but the app might be considered bloat by my users.

Can you help get this feature in my ROM??

Auto-Start App after Booting up

Is there a way to have the app auto start when the system boots up? I find I have to manually open the app after booting up the phone. Thanks!

OnePlus 8 pro does not work

I downloaded the app but the app does not work on OnePlus 8 pro phones, I looked for the sensor name to change it in the code but could not find it. Would there be a fix for this

Hmm, The app still works but It doesn't automatically scans my face but I need to manually click the Face icon. This is my only problem for the recent update.
