Not working Solus OS 4.1 Budgie

Hi,

Thank you so much for your script.

I tried on a dell laptop G5 5587 with a GTX 1060 max-q but it doesn't work.

if I run the command : lsmod | grep nvidia or intel, I can see that the driver are loaded.

But I cannot load the nvidia-settings app and when I try to run a game it doesn't work even when using these environment variable:

__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia

however switching from the intel GPU to Nvidia works just fine.

Any idea?

Can't run the command nvidia-optimus-manager

When I try to run the command I get the following error:

Optimus +eGPU

Would it be possible to support a Thunderbolt eGPU in addition to the internal intel and nvidia GPUs? The use case being, I switch between the two internal GPUs as needed why on the road and use the thunderbolt dock with a monitor plugged in to the dock when at home.

Support for non Intel Optimus setup

Hello!

I have a ZenBook UX433FN, which uses an iGPU (AMD Radeon) and a dGPU (Nvidia MX350). It seems to rely on the same Nvidia Optimus technology that it's earlier Intel sibling did.

Is there any way to add support? Right now it just says my configuration is unsupported.

Package this repository for Solus

I would like to know if you would like to have this script to Solus. I would like to package it! But I wanted to have your opinion before I ask the Solus developper to add this repository to Solus!

Installation for gdm

99-nvidia.conf: copy to /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/99-nvidia.conf

to where 99-nvidia.conf should be copied if using Solus Gnome with gdm

Doubt

When in Intel mode, is the Nvidia card completely off, and therefore battery life is a lot better?
