Quick Jargon Review

  • Issue
    These are effectively the tasks that are added to Github so we can manage the project
  • Pull Request
    These are when a developer has created new code to tackle one or more issues and is requesting for it to be reviewed and merged into the overall codebase
  • Merging
    When a pull request is approved, the reviewer will merge this new code into the overall codebase/n - Commits/n For every small bit of work a developer does, they will effectively save it before moving on.
