Bitcoin Widgets

See status of your full node and/or mempool.space Bitcoin explorer on your iPhone, iPad or Mac with the Apple M1 chip. Some widgets may also be added to your Apple Watch.

Installation

• Download Bitcoin Widgets from the App Store.
• Clone the repository and install the app manually via Xcode.

Configuration

Provide host and port of your full node in widget configuration.

• Public nodes are accessed directly via the Bitcoin protocol.
• Nodes running as Tor hidden services are accessed via the Bitnodes API.

If your node runs behind NAT, consider setting up a reverse SSH tunnel.

Widget not availbale on lockscreen

The widget is unfortunately not available on the lockscreen. This would be a great addition.

Trouble getting it to work on iOS

Hey, I like this app but would like it much more if it would work. Trying to connect to my node but it tells me „node unreachable“ all the time. Entering the private ip of the node and 8181 as mempool port but nothing. Also the 8333 of the Bitcoin service doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong?

Feature Request: Halving ETA

Hi! I'm a user of your widget, really cool man!
I saw this recently https://halving.live/ and I thought it would be cool to have a counter to the next halving as a widget.
Inspecting the source there is JS code for calculation from mempool.space data. I wish I could help you but I don't know Swift, anyway thanks

Sats per dollar wrong display

Sats per dollar display a ":" between the second digit and the third digit like and time display instead of the four digit of price as you can see in the photo below
