This is a Final Project (group project) for the Building Interactive Web Applications for Data Analysis course at Harvard Extension School.

PROJECT TOPIC - Global Heat Prediction

Project Basics

The purpose of this project is to provide the forecast of heat quantity in the next five years at different countries based on the last 10 - 15 years of heat data. Data is downloaded from UN database (cite below). Time-series model will be implmented, trained, and deployed to a web application together with visualization of the heat map in the world.

The website use Bootstrap and Jinja, and is not fully responsive (this was not a requirement).

All data are sourced from Eurostat for the following 32 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

All data are sourced from OECD for the following nine countries: Australia, Canada, Chile, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, and the United States of America.
