[Bug] Alarm sound for timers don't work

2. Set it to a sec
3. Press the start button
4. Wait for the timer to end

Alarms don't work at all

Steps to reproduce

1. Setting up an alarm.

Expected behavior

The alarm should ring at the hour I've set it.

Actual behavior

The alarm doesn't ring at all. The app has all of the needed permissions, I've set "Battery Usage" to "Unrestricted", I've tried both with the phone locked and unlocked, yet, doesn't seem to work in neither ways. Simple Clock seems to work, so it's not an OS' related issue. This issue persists on both 12-hour and 24-hour time.

[Bug] Too much long text hides the arrow

Thanks for the labels.
It was something I really wanted.

Unfortunately I just discovered a problem: if the label text is too long the arrow that opens and closes the card disappear or it is difficult to reach.

How do we fix this?

Should we limit the characters?

Some BRICS cities are not present in the general list

I cannot find Brazilia (Brazil), Beijing (China), New Delhi (India), Pretoria (South Africa) time cards.

I find it disconcerting to put Moscow as a European city.

Does the API provider play toy soldiers and annex territories to its military block?

alarm goes off at wrong time (24 hr system error)

set an alarm for any time

it should ring at the set time.. according to 24 hr system

any alarm before 12:00 (pm) rang at T±12 hr (e.g 06:00 tomorrow morning alarm rang at 18:00 this evening)
any alarm after 12:00 pm doesnt ring
explains why my 14:20 alarm didnt go off

[Feature Request] Turn of audio when timer finishes

enhancement: add "turn off" and "sleep" to alarms

hi, ive actually got two things, one is a minor inconvenience and the other is in the title

1. the typical material you create icon in the bottom right corner blocks some elements, especially on the alarms page when you have a lot of alarms, is a bit fiddely when you wanna edit your latest one

2. add a "turn off" (i mean skipping the alarm once, not actually completely turning it off) and a "sleep" button for alarms, probably in the notification, pretty self explanatory why theyre useful

It would be very convenient to have a mechanism to backup/restore all data among devices, easily, with a json file.

Ability to disable the (default) main time zone

I would like to see only the tabs managed by me.

Personally I don’t need the main clock because I set a tab with my country's time zone.

Sound from alarms/timers is played only once.

Alarm labels

In the "Alarm" tab I would like to read a short message on each card to remind me in the future its possible use.

For example:

"Get the beer out of the freezer"

"Turn off the radiators"

"The pasta is ready"

"Get up!"

And so on...

Add support for dynamicSpot

Using the native Google Clock, dynamicSpot works flawlessly, but with Clock You it doesn't.

In the time zone card could you add the time difference from UTC time?

For example:

Rome UTC +2
Reykjavik UTC +1

To personalize the time zone cards sorting (manually) following my needs.

Add swiping to turn off alarms

Implement Create Timer intent

Similar to feature #26, there is also a "create timer" intent, next to "create alarm".
For similar reasons as mentioned in the other ticket, this would be a nice feature to have (quicktiles, kvaesitso, google assistant,... use this intent).

[Bug] App crashes when stopping timer

Steps to reproduce

1. Create timer of below 5 seconds for example
2. Let it go to 0 sec
3. Press stop

The timer stops and the screen to set a timer shows up again

Hey @IzzySoft,

it would be great if you could help me out yet another time with approximately the last app from me for a while (unfortunately even my time is limited and I'll probably soon start struggling at maintaining all of the apps 🙃 ).
Clock You is as the name already says, an app for watching the time, scheduling alarms, creating timers and using a stopwatch, apart from that it has some clock widgets inbuilt.
I'd be very happy to let other people find out about it via your app repository.

Option for widget background transparency

A hard option with a slider to set transparency percentage or an easier option to make a background on/off toggle. Or easy option #2 - to be able to pick a widget with a background or a different widget without a background.

Possibility to hide "seconds" in card time

Not show the seconds value in card view (optionally).

Implementation of `Action call intent` in clock you

Describe your suggested feature

In Quicktiles app, there is tile for set alarm and set timer while clock you as clock app, using that tile, nothing happens.
Same goes for Kvaesitso launcher, it uses set alarm tag where user enters time (e.g 6:00) and it opens the clock app which automatically opens the entered popup of that time, user only have to tap OK, but since clock you doesn't have that intent, it does nothing. Ideally it should open the app with pop up of entered time to set as alarm. It will be a nice feature of clock you.

[Bug] There is no way to delete a clock card

I cannot delete any time zone card in clock tab.

Multiple preset timers at once (with labels)

Kitchen cooking takes advantage from running multiple timers at once. Some examples:

Pasta 10 minutes
Apple pie 25 minutes
Potatoes 12 minutes

But also...
Chess timer 30 minutes
Aerosol therapy 15 minutes

It is now 13:42. When I enter the app, the app displays the time correctly. The vertical clock widget displays 01:42.

Widget should use 24 hour format and display 13:42.

Multiple stopwatch records at once (like half marathon)

It is very useful to have a way to manage multiple records at once.

For example a class of students engaged in a cross-country race with more than 15 participants.
The professor, placed on arrival, will have to take the final time of all his students (with labels near each record = student's name).

Incorrect time zone offset during daylight savings time

Steps to reproduce

With system set to New York (currently EDT = UTC-4) and adding a card for Melbourne (which is in Eastern Australia, currently AEST = UTC+10), the Melbourne card is off by an hour. Seems like the app is not accounting for daylight savings time correctly.

I also noticed when I search for New York in the list of time zones, it shows offset as -5.0 (which is incorrect).

Expected behavior

System time = 21:45
Melbourne card = 11:45 (+1 day)

Actual behavior

System time = 21:45
Melbourne card = 12:45 (+1 day)
