Recommendation

Hi,

this might not be an issue per se, but looking at the code it seems that regular expressions are used to parse the file contents. Regular expressions are normally hard to debug and might have edge cases which are difficult to find. My recommendation is that you take a look at antlr4. Antrl4 is a parser generator that is very easy to use. Anyhow, if you don't like this issue, feel free to delete it. Otherwise, feel free to look up how to use antlr4. :)

A new home for Pytov

After a few months of work, I am glad to republish Pytov, now as a programming language which stands by itself, no transpiles, no ugly regex, a lexer, a parser, and an interpreter!

Does not work for an empty bracket

Step to Reproduce

Create a test.py

if (1 == 1){}

Run

pytov test.py

What I got

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File test.py, line 1
    if (1 == 1):
               ^
SyntaxError: unexpected EOF while parsing

Expected Result

I expect it will work, maybe by implicitly adds pass to the correspond scope
