Story Board

Project Overview:

The project is meant to be used as a tool for creating stories for text based RPG games. The program provides a UI for otherwise tedious task of using a Json or other format for creating a story tree.

Concepts:

• Cards :
  • Think of cards as - flowchart / nodes in godot / components in react , but used for stories. Cards contain info like the content to display, various choices in stories, variables associated with it.
  • You can connect different cards together to create a flow of dialogues/stories.
  • Types :
    1. StoryCard
    2. RouterCard
    3. ChoiceCard

Instructions:

• Install godot engine V 3.5.1
• Download latest version of repo
• Run the project.godot file
