Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Setup

Clone this repo to your desktop and run npm install to install all the dependencies.

Built With

This app is built with html, css, vanilla javascript and using APIs like Openweathermap, mapbox GL JS.

Currently I'm the only contributor to this project. However, contributors are accepted and any pull request for this project will be appreciated and duly merged. There are no specific rules for contributing to this project therefore general rules of contribution to open source projects will apply here.

geo-search's Issues

User can convert the temperature to either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Add temperature conversion

User can share a map of the places of interest and its local weather conditions to Facebook.

Make layout responsive across devices

User can search for a place

Display weather conditions

Geocode the search string

Add map view

User can see the local weather conditions (wind speed, temperature, humidity and the current weather condition) of the place of interest .

User can view a map of a place with a marker identifying the location of the place of interest.
