Zeppe-Lin handbook

OVERVIEW

This directory contains the Zeppe-Lin handbook(7) that covers the installation, configuration, and administration of GNU/Zeppe-Lin.

REQUIREMENTS

Build time

• POSIX sh(1p) and "mandatory utilities"
• GNU make(1)
• Perl
• pod2man(1pm) to build manual page (optional)
• pod2pdf(1pm) to build pdf version (optional)
• pod2txt(1pm) to build txt version (optional)

INSTALL

The shell commands make man && make install-man should build and install this handbook as a manual page.

handbook is licensed through WTFPLv2 License. See LICENSE file for copyright and license details.

handbook's Issues

move some instructions from INSTALL section to CONFIGURATION

and make references to them in the INSTALL section.
This also reduces duplicate instructions (see "Generating Locales").

mention the cron jobs that are enabled by default

add DEVELOPMENT section?

Maybe add DEVELOPMENT section where will be described "Bugs and Issues", "Tasks for Next Release" and "How to Contribute"?

Add that to the Index page or to the Handbook?

reword "{Download,Extract} rootfs tarball" sections

The following sections of the documentation contain a hardcoded version of rootfs:

It would be better to make the text more generalized with a link to the page with the latest release. Then there is no need to change the version in the handbook with each new release of rootfs

add EPUB version of the handbook

The pod2epub(1pm) has a dependency hell.
Is there another variant?

fix text variant of the handbook

add "Update Zeppe-Lin" section

The documentation should describe about updating toolchain, libtool and other pitfalls of updating to new release.
