About the GIFs, they will have a "Download image" button like any image. But after loaded, will have a play button (user will see the preview and then decide if want to play or not) and after played, a pause button.

"Edit", in order to open "Username", "ProfilePic", "Background" and "Bio" in the edit mode. Then user will hover the profile picture and will see nothing, and hover name/bio and also don't see the pen. With also a "Save" button. Only if clicks in the "Edit" button.

redirect /?login=done to profile page

The /?login=done page is empty. It isn't nice for the user is visiting for the first time to need to remove it from URL. Can you create a page with working top nav and a welcome message?
