FFXI Server Emulator Boot Loader -- Launches client without PlayOnline.

xi_checker

Verifies DirectPlay and POL are installed and connect to a server using xiloader (installed in POL folder).

Usage:

xi_checker $server_ip

xiloader's Issues

Latest build can not select characters created after first

#8 seems to have broken character selection for any characters other than the first one ever created.

Selecting any character that was created after the first, will exit throwing Error POL-0001

#7 compiles fine and works as expected so the changes made in #8 should be reviewed. Several people have already come across this as Topaz links here.

Reproducible:

  • Build latest source. Create several characters. Try to log in.
    or
  • Download release 1.2.2 and do the same
    then
  • Build 59434e3 from source and try again. 59434e3 works as exptected.
