A mobile app built with rails and PostgreSQL. After signing in the user is able to add categories and see how much has been spent in each added category. Can add transactions after selecting the category that they fell under and assign more categories if needed.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps:

  • Go to the folder where you want to store the project, and clone the repository using the following SSH
  • SSH: https://github.com/zkr024/Budget-app.git
  • Once at the root of the project from the terminal, run the following command

bundle install

rails s

access to http://localhost:3000/ in your browser
