Is there a way to export variables?

I have a function like this:

function update_variables {
    export GIT_BRANCH=$(git rev-parse --abbrev-ref HEAD)
}

function prompt {
  export PS1="$GIT_BRANCH \w $"
}

But, the variable GIT_BRANCH doesn't exits...

异步bash

[Issue?] async

Every time I use async function is printing "1" in screen, is there any way to avoid that print?
