In the Arges we have 2 Nanite Core slots, if a Nanite is place in the Left side only, the decals wont show up, only the Slot from the RIGHT is taken into account.

  2. Place a Nanite Core only in the Left Slot
  3. See error

Expected behavior
Both Slots should be considered, regardless of which, in case of both, pick the first, usually the Right side.

Main Menu frame rate is unlimited, high GPU usage

When in the main menu the frame rate goes very high for no reason, with this GPU usage goes up to 100%

Describe the bug
If you decide to log back to main menu during a dialogue audio playback, the audio will keep playing.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start RA
  2. As soon as Theona start speaking, open the game menu, and hit LOG OUT TO MAIN MENU.
  3. You will keep hearing her speak while you are in Main Menu.

Expected behavior
All audio should stop, and only Main Menu ambient sounds should be heard.

CBM side doors stay open when 2+ CBMs are docked to each other

Describe the bug
The CBM side doors will open regardless of air pressure or if you closed them, if another CBM is docked to it, creating a situation where 1 CBM is pressurized while the other is not, and the door will open and both rooms will have different pressure.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to a CBM
  2. Dock it with another using the side door
  3. close the door between them, and relog.
  4. Door will be open when you log back.

Add a setting to turn on/off health value in player profile

Yes, the health indicated by the color is not precise.

We don't have a health value showing anywhere, so we tend to waste stimpacks.

Add a setting to enable/disable the health value information inside player profile, this way it's not always showing, so it wont break immersion, and the player has to go into inventory to check it out.

Right now we get confined to the game window, even when in the game menus, which some times with multi displays is not cool. Also not good for full window windowed mode.

An option to restrict the mouse to the game or don't, this way wen we click something else, the game wont get minimized.

Arges Elevator Bars removal

The bars on the arges elevator door is wrong, instead use the door as a way to block people from going under the platform when its not there.
If the elevator is going up and the door is open, close it, if you opening the door and the platform is up above, don't open the door until the platform is lowered.

HRP-L Auto transfer resources out of canisters in Cargo Access Points

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
None.

Describe the solution you'd like
HRP-F has the Auto Refueling System, which is a server handled auto transfer of resources from a canister to the vessel cargo containers, HRP-L needs something similar but has to work from the client side instead.
With this in mind, add a button to the Cargo Access Point that enabled and disabled the auto transfer out of canisters when they are plugged in, making mining much easier with an Arges, or transferring cargo to the CBM tanks.

Docking lever light status don't work as it should

The docking levers straight up never change status color, or do it wrong.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any docking door
  2. Flip the switches
  3. The status color wont change, or it will change wrong.

Expected behavior
Docking light status is:
Green -> Connected to another vessel's docking door and the Clamps are locked.
Red -> Not connected to another vessel.
Blinking Blue -> When connected, indicating the Clamps are unlocked, it will affect the connected door's lever status too.
Lit Blue -> When not connected, indicating the Clamps are unlocked.

Arges improvements from HRP-F added to HRP-L

Describe the solution you'd like
All the changes that was possible to bring from HRP-F to HRP-L without adding new capabilities.
The new underbridge console, has only all the controls already in the ship.
Granted it add a new kind of gameplay, but everything done down there can be done elsewhere in the ship.

Describe the bug
When you press X button on Window it just simply kills the game, same for ALT + F4.
It can lead to accidental close of the game.

  2. Click on X Button if you in Windowed mode, or just ALT + F4
  3. Game will just close.

Expected behavior
A confirmation box should appear before the game exists, to avoid accidental exits.

Mouse is set to confined to game window and when in Windowed mode, most of the time you end up clicking out of the game.

Cursor should stay locked to the center of the game window and not move.

CTM Turret clips into the Wall when turning

Since the turret rotates 360 all the time, and the turret is close to the wall, it clips into it.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to a CTM
  2. Plug a Turret
  3. See it rotate into the wall

Expected behavior
Make it rotate only partially.

Keep in mind, this wont affect the Turret targeting, it is just a visual effect, the rotation does not target, currently.

Battery Recharger flips back to close with batteries attached.

Battery Recharger only open/close its attach points on proximity detection.
So if you step away from recharger and a battery is attached, it will flip close.
Also the Icon on the charger should go Orange only when it is actually charging a battery.

  1. Go to a battery recharger, it will flip open
  2. Plug a battery
  3. Step away.
  4. See error

The attach point should remain open when batteries are charging.

Remove main server requirement

Yes, when the main server is unreachable, the game is 100% unplayable in multiplayer.

Describe the solution you'd like
When you press the MULTIPLAYER button in main menu, it takes forever to show the list of servers and if the connection fails, you can't go into the server list.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Make a way to have a local list of servers, an option in the settings to enable the update of this list and disable when not needed.

Make it so we can also add local servers in this list, although to run a server the main server is required or else the server will shutdown, so internet connection is still required, local servers without public IP and port forwarding, wont show up in the list of servers, so adding it manually is the only alternative.

Setting to disable Occlusion of objects in space when inside an object lose details

No.

Describe the solution you'd like
An option to disable the occlusion of objects in space, when you are inside an object, the details on other space objects is reduced, in an attempt to get better performance, but this at the same time, cause the game to freeze when entering and leaving vessels, resulting in a very bad and choppy experience.

Although yes, disabling the occlusion, may lead to a drop in frame rate, that drop is average and stable, resulting in less peeks, and more smoothness frames.

It is up to the player to decide what he values more.

The distress call on the haven can be turned on but wont turn off again.

  1. click distress button
  2. button is green
  3. no more further clicks recognized - button stays green, distress stays active

Air quality warning icon in the Pilot Status screen.

The only way to determine if the air quality is low is by color, which currently is very subtle, and not friendly to colorblind people.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add an extra icon in the pilot status screen, that wen lit up informs the pilot that the air quality is dropping.
Still uses the color as Red to know its bellow 20% which is the minimum breathable lvl.

Perhaps to make it colorblind friendly, make it blink when it gets bellow 20%.

All propellers are not active at the moment, make an option to have them active, when there is pressure / power and an active air filtration in the current vessel.

Better Proximity loot slot identification

We have a hard time identifying shelf slots in the inventory proximity loot.
There are many things that could help identify better which slot we are placing our items at.

  1. Color code the slots relative to the item we are dragging to it, if the slot is a perfect match related to size, it is green, if it's larger it is yellow, this way we know if we are wasting a medium size slot with a small size item.

  2. Use different icons instead of the A to show the size: S / M / L (Small / Medium / Large)

  3. Use light to point out exactly what slot we are pointing our mouse to, in the game world.
