Installation requirements

Hey guys, im running a small VPS (1gb ram) and hosting few websites.
I would like to install zPanel to make my life easier in managing websites, but im not sure if i have to delete my current lamp stack and other things or will zPanel installer take care all of that. Also if i must delete current softwares that what i have to delete except lamp (ftp ?) and do i have to delete all files (including configurations)?

Blank page when creating new client

Using zPanel for CentOS 6.4 after I create a new user I get redirected to: <ip_addr>/?module=manage_clients&action=CreateClient and the page is blank. I checked the error log /var/logs/httpd/error_log and didn't find anything serious:

File does not exist: ..../jquery.min.map refer to <ip_addr>
File does not exist: .../favicon.ico refer to <ip_addr>/?module=manage_clients&action=CreateClient

Same thing happenes when I click Webalizer stats.

Is the forum down or something whats wrong..
I also have a problem with Zpanel. I get an blank screen after logging in and It doesn't work at all on ubuntnu 12.04LTS

How to access zpanel when your domain has expired?

Hi,

My domain has expired. I had setup zpanel to be accessed from zpanel.domain.com

Now how Can I access it from IP address? Any way to change the subdomain from ssh?

PHP mysql_* functions.

Hi folks,
I think that PHP 5.3 is quite an old version, therefore most of mine and I'd assume others' deployments are using v5.5 in which mysql_* functions are deprecated and unsafe(!) so it should be replaced with PDO.

From what I've seen (I haven't seen all of the code) most code uses mysql_* functions.
I think this is a massive issue, which should be taken into consideration for the next update. I will try to find some time myself to contribute and rewrite it, but obviously it's a community driven project so if anyone has started doing it, I'd like to give a hand.

P.S. Main attraction of Zpanel for me, was the aesthetic design (better than most paid products). Most of other platforms look like crap, so well done guys. Love the UI and the functionality. I'll try to contribute as much as I can.

get logins

Hey there,

So I installed zpanel from command line... and terminal hung at this part

Installed size: 251 M
Downloading Packages:
then did this
Read from remote host [ip address]: Operation timed out
Connection to [ip address] closed.

So i went to the subdomain in browser just to check and voila the login panel except I dodn't see the script completion with the logins and passwords so how do I get them? I tried forgot password on the login screen but nothing happened.

Use existing home directory error

Hi,

I've create domains but the "Use existing home directory" list is still empty.
Zpanel : 10.1.1
CentOS release 6.7
PHP 5.5.30

Need help
