tanlira's Issues

Commercialization:

A basic user system should be added in:

A filtering system should be added.

A types system that allows creating types should be added.

show upvote and downvote numbers as well.

resize markers depending on upvotes/downvotes

Revenue

Stores will be able to register, and add in all their locations. You will be able to filter them from the main site, or automatically get a filtered list from "storename.tanlira.com".

Users will be able to "subscribe" to different marker types/stores. Default ones can be washrooms, hotdog stands, etc. but food chains could also be added. Subscribing will allow you to get them on your map, and stores will also be able to send you coupons. Some types could be "promoted" for a fee $___/day/locatiion

Stores that just use the web based mapping features will not be charged. This can get people to come in and use it.

Stores send coupons to customers whenever they are nearby. You a can also select to be notified whenever you are within ___metres of the store. Coupons/location notifications can be disabled by the user so they don't get annoyed. Coupons sales can be either done per coupon redeemed - but this couldn't work - how will we keep track. They can instead by done on a per notification basis: $0.10/web notification $0.12/sms. "Check in" coupons could also be added. "It could also possibly ping the store to let them know a past customer was around - this will have to be opt in, and regulatory issues will need to be checked.

You can also select to get sent random coupons throughout the week (to discover new stores). Stores can set it to send up to ___ messages a week. It will then randomly send up to ___ coupons to every user who's opted in. These coupons will be randomly chosen from the pool of all coupons (e.g. store a set to 10 coupons, store b set to 20 coupons - 1/3 chance of getting store a's) until all opted in users have a reasonable amount of coupons.

SMS incoming could be a premium feature - charge the user $0.03/locate and $0.05/map. it will still be cheaper than most data plans, and will mean we don't lose money (unless people spam us with incoming texts). It could be integrated with unique phone numbers for different stores.

They could be used to create recommendations on who to target for the stores.

Expenses

Fixed:
Namecheap - $10/year
Digital Ocean - $10/month

Dependent:
Twilio - inflated prices billed to either end users or stores. Outgoing messages should be covered. Incoming could be spammed.
