misc things needed from jairus

  • what years for your data?
  • what does SRR PDR mean? i said SRR= pre-requirements and PDR=pre-coding
  • consider one of your numbers (e.g. 64%). does that mean predicted=100 and final = 164? or does it mean predicted = 100 and actual = 36? or is it (actual - predicted)/actual ?

papers needs about 1/4 page of references to people saying "sizing is a problem"

ideally a dozen papers saying that this sizing thing is a fatal flaw in cocomo, most horrid problem etc

this would be a section starting section2 called "motivation" before the current 2.2
places to start:

Section references/

end of section 2.2 says

Only sections 3.2.1, 3.2.2, and two-fifths of the results in Figure 6 contain material found in prior papers.

but we have no 3.2.1 or 3.22

please fix

george. please copy over our notes on the data sets, the perturbation study and the scott-knot method.

ensure your comments do the setup (with the data) . cpvers the stats methods, then discusses and explains all the results. note you need to end with the ``Results1'' bubble from p1.

need another word for the opposite of agile

the opposite of an agile project.

can't be "big" cause agile folks claim they can do big

cant be "waterfall" cause that is too emotionally laden

the kind of software where early lifecycle estimates are essentila na dbudges cant really be altered much after the initial allocation

can't see an answer to the following (in the bdy text)

"I missed a section discussing possible implications for researchers and practitioners. How the results of this work contribute to future research activities in the area? How practitioners can benefit from the results achieved in the paper?
You’re quite correct, there was no future work section in the paper. This has been included in the revised submission and appears in §7 (see Reviewer 1a)."
