How to request a server to be added?

There is no substitution command when asking the bot for !help (since its an admin only command according to this repo), and the rules/faq are not clear on the subject of what the requirements for adding a server to the list are, nor whom to ask/bother/ping 😗

Kick instead of ban for nitro scams

even if a user does not regain access to their account, banning them prevents them from re-joining the server with a different account that has the same e-mail or phone number.

where is the discord "now playing" metadata generator stored?

it probably doesn't exist, but i was just wondering
trying to fix a bug where if a map has a custom colour, discord will display that as part of the map name
E.g

Arkanic is Playing Mindustry
Wave 10 on map [orange]cool map

it'd be easy to fix with some filter code like

data = data.replaceAll("\\[.*?\\]", "");

Core doesn't resolve pre-Erekir .msch files

Corebot displays v7-erekir .msch files properly,
but doesn't display v135 .msch files.

a new dev channel?

Currently the discord has a bunch of discussion channels for normal players, a bunch for modding, but only one for development, which is technically only meant for discussing mindustry related development.

But in practice its more of an offtopic/social/showcase/suggestion/etc channel inhabited by developers and those curious as to what they're up to.

My opinion is that it may be best if developers get a secondary channel thats still related to mindustry's development, but a bit more informal, where people can are allowed to suggest stuff for the java programmers in there, where they can share their ideas and random pulls, etc, keeping the actual #development channel a bit more official and true to its purpose.
(people complaining about offtopic but still development-ish related messages in there is way to common)

While we technically could post in #screenshots/social/designs/spriting/multiplayer/etc its a bit hard to keep track of what is where, and it'll be harder to read up on unread messages if there is a lot of normal user content in there.

For this purpose i've kinda been brainstorming all day (was traveling, nothing else to do) with possible suggestions and/or inspiration as to what a potential channel name could be. (there's weird stuff in there, but hey, its brainstorming, that just happens)

The view described above is entirely my own, feel free to implement or disregard it. 🙂

TLDR adding a discord channel for those involved with the java side of mindustry?
("all-in-one channel for those who operate on a level above json modding")

in #schematics messages are deleted before being checked for spampings

core bot does not make meta cost on schematics.

A button/reaction to either DM the schematic text, or send it as an ephemeral message, if it fits in 2k chars

especially on more locked down systems like iOS it's painful to download + import schematic files

Bot stoped "adding" new Mods

The dot does not display any more mods. Last update was 04 May 2020 18:45.

Can generate error when using !postmap on a non-mindustry-discord server

Using !postmap on a discord server that isn't a mindustry official one (in this case #social) generates an error
