user and pass are inside authenticate.js. It is not that hard to break angular routing to read a server side file

There is not any need to read the user from database. Simply change it in node.js side

Well.... it is impossible. And if someone be able to read the server side files they will be able to read db files too! (You know that you should connect to db in server side and you have to write db user and pass)
