ball teleports

On level 5, after I’ve segregated the balls into individual cells, sometimes one of the balls will disappear from it’s cell and reappear in another one.

I don't know if this is a bug or part of the design, but it feels like a bug.

Total area cleared

Hi,

When one completes a level, it stops as soon as the 75% are reached.. it would be nice to let it go over, and to display the actual area covered before switching to the new level :)

That could lead to a bonus, actually, not sure how the original one reacted to that!

Feature request: add a play/pause button

There's no way to make a pause while playing the game.
If I turn my phone's screen off between two levels, there's a bug when I turn it on: the game starts over instead of playing the next level.
Therefore, a play/pause button would be useful.

Menu

Are the tasks in the readme file still up-to-date?
I think I moved all the remaining strings to strings.xml so that task can be removed from the readme file.
I'd also like to try to create a main menu with sub menus. It might take some time to do so though.

Extreme lag

Quite a few versions back I started experiencing extreme lag that rendered the game unplayable. At first it was nice and speedy, then it was really slow but smooth, and then it started to extremely lag. I'll happily submit further details.

Time should increase slightly as the levels increase

This is a matter of opinion, but I think the game currently has a very steep curve as it approaches levels 8 or 9, then it seems nearly impossible. The game would still be difficult if a few seconds were added after each level to accommodate the greater number of balls.

Add language selector

Please consider adding option to change language of the game instead of relying on system settings. I can contribute with Polish and Esperanto translations (if the game is still being developed)...

Include BobBall in the Fdroid repository

Hi there,
thank you @bobthekingofegypt for creating such a great and addictive game! It would be really nice to make it available for a wider audience, especially for the users of fdroid.
Getting the game into their repository is quite simple (https://f-droid.org/manual/fdroid.html), its just a matter of creating a textfile like this:

unable to quit the game using back button

Following an upgrade to v1.6 it looks like a pause feature has been implemented when you press the back button instead of just leaving the game.

The has had the downside that you can no longer leave the app by pressing the back button.

Suggestion that when back button is pressed it pauses the game and you are given two options.

  1. Resume game
  2. Quit game

It would also be useful if a second press of back button exited the game.

Half bars ?

Hi !
In the original JezzBall, you could create a half bar as soon as one half was completed on the previous click.. Would be lovely to have that!

Crash on launch for 1.7 update

I updated to version 1.7 from the fdroid repo this morning, and now the app crashes as soon as I touch the button to open it. "Unfortunately, BobBall has stopped"

Nexus 5 phone and stock android 5.1.1

Everything was working fine prior to the update.

level choosing

when you die , you have to start from the begining again and play all those previous levels , its frustrating

please add ability to select anywhere from completed levels
