Install mongodb

npm install

node app.js

node node_modules/gulp/bin/gulp.js watch

Troubleshooting:

• If you see the following error on npm install:

  > node node_modules/gulp/bin/gulp.js sass && node node_modules/webpack/bin/webpack.js --mode development
   
    gulp[19821]: ../src/node_contextify.cc:635 yada yada yada
  

  Nuke your package.lock file and try again.

Load - Maximum Users

This chat looks cool.. but it needs a lot of customization.

Anyway.. does this chat can hold more than 2000 users at a time? in the room with even private chat options.

Bunker repeats chat sections

Bunker has a bug where it repeats sections of chat. It appears to happen when the client reconnects to chat. See screenshot below. The timestamp in chat goes backwards and 10+ minutes of chat are repeated.

Long names screw up formatting

I changed my name so it was long enough that it was truncated. When I tried to send messages, it added an extra line to my chat. This is what I see in Chrome:

No chat box 50% of the time. Messages don't get sent most of the time either.

When I load bunker, 50% of the time I do not get a chat box. When I do get a chat box, I can type into it but nothing gets sent about 75% of the time. Seems to get fixed by refreshing a bunch and switching rooms. Bunker is basically unusable for me in its current state.

Browser: Chrome
Machines Tested: 3 (Home desktop, work laptop, personal laptop)

HTTP links don't open in a new window.

Bunker chat allows you to enter a link using HTML. Ex:

<A HREF="http://www.google.com">link text</A>

This link DOES NOT open in a new window/tab. So anyone clicking on this link is removed from Bunker Chat and taken to the link.

image drag-n-drop for uploading does not work, Firefox 73.0.1

Drag an image into the chat message area or the chat text input, all it does is open the image for viewing in the browser window (rather than loading the image and uploading to imgur).

Works in v1 with FF 73.0.1.
