Allows tiles to be hidden when the scene's darkness level is outside a customizable range. Much like lights and sounds.

darknessactivatedtiles's Issues

Broken in Foundry VTT v10 Latest

This doesn't seem to work in (at least) Foundry VTT latest. With this set to enabled on an animated tile (webm), with a darkness threshold of .5 to 1, transitioning from day to night or back does nothing to the visibility of the tile.

Foundry v10, build 286

CONFLICT: Monk's Activated Tile Triggers

Module currently conflicts with Monk's Activated Tile Triggers (MATT) by disabling the drop down menu for MATT "when" settings. Tested with just MATT enabled and with just MATT and Darkness Activated Tiles enabled.

Darkness Activation Range option not present

Hi! Was wondering if this was a known issue but I can't see the options at all.

Tried it with no other mods on and no luck, I initially installed it through Foundry's built-in module browser, removed it and manually installed it with the provided Manifest URL and still nothing.

I'm running Foundry 0.8.8, if there's something I'd need to provide proof or help with debugging I'd be happy to oblige

Odd behavior with min range = 0

There are some unexpected behaviors with the tiles when the min range is the default 0.

  • Tiles with the default settings will generally work fine, but sometimes at random they go hidden, this behavior can be "accelerated" or triggered by modifying the max range, a tile with 0 to 0.5 will hide when darkness = 0
  • If any of the two values is not 0 and you try to set it to 0, the change won't be saved
