Download button on file page is hard to spot

I often spend several seconds looking for the button, because it's disguised as a view mode tab. I think it would be much better to fit it into the icon buttons just to the right of its present location.

Github Pages Button missed

Ignore whitespace in diffs automatically

How about adding ?w=1 to any diff URLs automatically as optional? Personally speaking it's pretty useful, as I hardly ever care about any changes only in whitespace.

Raw button

Possibility of Desktop notifications?

How about adding something like a desktop notification feature for github notifications or news? Is it do-able?

Wide mode doesn't widen graphs/"network view"

The box around the network view is widened however the actual network isn't.

Icon's counter doesn't update since Github Beta notification center

Hi,
Github released a Beta of its new notification center. The Github Mate's counter (on the browser icon) still stuck and doesn't update anymore.

Tab Size not working.

Set tab size to 2 or 4 and it does not woking.

Google Chrome: Version 48.0.2564.109 (64-bit)

Tab size customizing

I love 2-space-sized tabs... But GitHub shows 8-space-sized ones as default, which reduces effiency.
This extension can change the default size, but only 4-space-sized tabs available. I think it's not difficult for GitHub Mate to do the job better.

Single file download don‘t work

Loving Octo Mate -- very useful. If you added support for rending LaTeX on GitHub markdown pages -- something GitHub flavored markdown doesn't do, that would be fantastic!

Sticky Side Panel overlaps key elements on Boards Tab

On Github's new Boards tab, the sticky side panel overlaps key elements. It should autohide (as it does below specific breakpoints) on the Boards tab.

need update with new repository design

Download button just puts raw view- exact same as hitting raw button.

Hit the download button on a file, and its the exact same result as hitting the raw button and getting a web view of the file, and don't download anything..

GitHub主页界面的侧边栏很挡视线

Download button not working

Clicking on the download button just opens the raw file in the same tab and does not download the specific file. I tried clicking on the 'Download' button while trying to download a csv file from a repo but all it did was open the raw version of that csv.

multiple buttons when forward and back

There are 2 more button added evertime I'm using back and forward button. after couple of times, looks like this:

Open participating notifications page when displaying of the number of participating notifications is configured

I have found the following bug: I have Octo Mate configured to show the number of participating notifications on the extension's badge but when I click it, it opens the GitHub's unread notifications page.

The expected behavior is: Octo Mate opens the notifications page corresponding to the configured value of Show notifications number/Show when clicked.

When it's displaying the number of participating notifications on the badge, it should open the GitHub's participating notifications page, when it's configured to the number of unread notifications, it should open the unread notifications page.

Assuming this project is dead since its not been maintained for quite some time (and there is no chrome extension in the store anymore?)

Are you looking for someone to maintain it?

I have some ideas - was planning on forking it for myself - but I'd be happy to take this over?

Add Download folder feature

Hi @camsong, thanks for this amazing extension.

I was wondering how hard would be to add a feature to download a folder only?

That would be very hand in case we want to download a specific folder, instead of the whole project or file by file.

I'm happy to give a try, but perhaps you'd know exactly what to do...

Notifications not updating

The option for updating notifications doesn't appear to be working. My number is stuck until I load a github page, then it updates.

Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function

Detect gh-pages

Sometimes there's a gh-pages branch for a repo but it isn't linked anywhere so one has to type 'username.github.io/repo`.
