This can be easily fixed by adding maleclypse and candlebury as coauthors to any commit moving AFS content.

Again anything staying in AFS doesn't need anything changed from current state because of the modinfo file.

alright, so if my understanding is correct, this would mean

for all new commits that contain files moved from aftershock into BN (mainlined), the author maleclypse and candlebury must be attributed as co-authors.

to achieve that,

  1. Could you please provide committer name and email for maleclypse and candlebury? this is required to ensure attribution is correctly made for each commits.
  2. I'll use this issue as a tracker for all related migration PRs.

please let me know if there's anything needs to be worked further.

You can do it for all of them, you could also just do it for any that are pulling from the 10k lines in PR #122, but that is probably more work to keep track of.
