Download torrents in style with this speedy, minimalist torrent client for elementary OS.
You'll need the following dependencies to build:
flatpak-builder build com.github.davidmhewitt.torrential.yml
Several torrents have this (or 6:28:14) remaining on them for me. I presume this is some sort of max value issue?
Instead of going to one specific folder everytime.
if possible, make a wingpanel indicator for app when is closed, it makes more senses for a app in second plane instead of a icon in plank with the another's really opened apps.

This is would be a very good feature, if app will automatically download torrent from rss feeds. Like QBittorrent or YaRss plugin in Deluge.
There is no option to select/deselect individual files of the torrent.
First of all, I just started using Torrential and it's amazing. I was wondering if in the next update, the icon for "Open Magnet Link" could be updated slightly. I feel like the icon is out of place and could be improved if it looked more like the "Open .torrent file" icon. Besides that, everything works flawlessly so far.
The combination CTRL + A doesnt select all torrents.

All items are selected by pressing CTRL + A
I have checked my Router - Torrential is not requesting the uPnP ports be opened for BitTorrent to work on my router. Therefore I don't get metadata etc to download.
Other Torrent clients like Deluge work just fine.
I think that SOKS 5 support is needed.
AppCenter Dashboard ran desktop-file-validate on your project's .desktop file and received the following errors:

Since you have only a few static items, it would be more space efficient to use a ModeButton to filter instead of a sidebar.

I noticed that Torrential is missing the translation for brazilian portuguese, I could translate it, if the devs are interested. As long as there is no coding involved (since I'm not a programmer), just send me a text file and I'll translate it.

Torrential is really good but I think it lacks some options related to trackers. For example, It would be really cool if we could have a file with a list of trackers that gets automatically added to every new download or just have a space inside Preferences with that list (like how qBittorrent does).
It would be really useful since it'll speed up some downloads :)
Torrential is appearing under the accessories and internet categories, it should appear only under internet.
When opening Torrential the Plank icon shows an empty progress bar even when no torrents are added. Similar to Pantheon Files, I feel like the progress bar should only appear when something is being done such as copied, downloaded, etc. In other words, seeing an empty progress bar would mean to the user that a torrent(s) is added, but hasn't downloaded anything yet (perhaps there's no seeds) while no progress bar would indicate that no torrents have been added yet. Here a screenshot to illustrate the issue:

It opens a folder which does not exist, sorry, I didn't record the exact name of the folder, but it contained the name of the torrent, but it wasn't the actual folder in which the torrent was downloaded. The torrent is a folder itself (not just a single file).
If I have torrential running in the background and I click a magnet link it would be nice to get a notification so I know that it was added successfully
Provide the functionality to remove the downloaded data as well.
Right now, it just removes the torrent.

if Continue Download when closed is activated, it's not possible to quit it. It would be useful to have a menu item in Desktop file:
If it is a single video or audio file, the file should be opened in the default media player, e.g. VLC, audience, or pantheon music, depending on the format.

Possibility to set a custom folder location where the temp files are stored before any file download is completed (then it should be moved to the Download folder).
Right now you cant select multiply elements.
It seems that when I restart my computer the torrents I've downloaded seem to stop seeding. Sometimes they start seeding again and sometimes they don't. I downloaded a vanilla flavor of Transmission GTK+ and it seeds no matter what. So am I doing something wrong or is this an actual issue?
You need to sync libtransmission with the upstream so this project doesn't get outdated.
Changes mostly bugfixes, I don't think you'll need to play with .vapi with every change.

I keep double-clicking the torrents expecting them to do something. In the case where you don't have per-torrent settings, maybe just opening the file in the file browser is a sane action?
