Can confirm it doesn't work in 17.10 P2, but it will be fixed in 17.10 P3 once it releases:

I've validated that I can reproduce this on 17.9 Preview 4, but that it appears to be fixed on the current 17.10 Preview. I'll try to track down the PR that fixed this, but it will probably have to wait until Monday.

Nothing was obvious to me in the code, @oleghcp -- are you able to verify whether this still occurs for you on 17.10 previews?
