Status report window does not update on Windows

Progress of subprocesses of DEEPN (gene count and junction make) do not update the status box in the main DEEPN window. This issue only observed in the complied windows executable. Running the software via Python interpreter (from the source) works as expected. This could be an issue that is specific to certain machine configurations, but it needs to be tested
