cerebroviz's Issues

cerebroViz not working with latest version of R (>=4.0.0)

I am interested in using cerebroViz to display expression data for the brain. However, I have not been able to get cerebroViz to work with the latest version of R and have identified a possible bug.

Since R 4.0.0, it appears that matrix objects also inherit from class "array". As a result, mechanisms to check matrices before this version of R can invalidate code incorrectly assuming that class(matrix_obj)) has length one, since checking the class of a matrix will now return [1] "matrix" "array" . This would mean that any matrix I pass to the cerebroViz function in the latest version of R returns Error in if (class(x) != "matrix") stop("'x' must be of class 'matrix'.") : the condition has length > 1 and the diagram is not produced.

Please have a look at this thread https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64660948/issue-with-creating-a-matrix-in-r which further highlights the problem and provides a simple solution.

Thank you.
