Hi,
I'm not familiar with MinGW so I can't say for sure but it sounds like CMake can't find the toolchain rather than a configuration error. As I understand it, it may be to do with how the MinGW path is added to Windows %path% but I can't say for sure.

I've actually pretty much abandoned this library now anyway, in favour of tmxlite: https://github.com/fallahn/tmxlite which also includes an example renderer for SFML, as well as supporting many newer features of tmx files. Perhaps this may be better suited to your project and, if required, I can make sure the CMake file is compatible with MinGW, if it isn't already.
