example-app's Issues

npm install error C2065 bufferutil.cc

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I need help trying to build the example-app on Windows 10. I installed Visual Studio Community 2015 with C++ checked to get VCbuild.exe then ran "npm config set msvs_version 2015 --global". My node -v is v4.4.7 and npm -v is 4.0.5.

Is it possible to build the example-app with this setup?

Running Tests

Can you tell me how to run the tests on my local machine?

I tried running it on the Travis CI. It only tells me that tests passed without any detail test report.

Use karma 0.10?

Any plans on updating this sample to use karma 0.10?

I'm interested to see how that would affect the tests that are written.

Mail movement options menu not shows

Hi there,

I noticed that if you click on the row (mail item) and you click on the move menu - you will get the options (http://flightjs.github.io/example-app/#).

But if you don't choose any and click again on the move menu - options will not show (mail is selected and highlighted).

When I click on the move menu and click somewhere else - menu disappears, and when I click again on the move menu - menu shows up... so it is working good.

Very best,
Tomasz Kuter

New example app

Create a new example app that showcases more features of Flight, makes use of standalone components, and exposes a development workflow.

  • Decide on what sort of application to build.
  • Scaffold the app using generator-flight.
  • Identify components it needs and whether they can be made as standalone packages (again, use generator-flight).
  • Push the built version of the app to the gh-pages branch.
  • Feed changes back into generator-flight if the scaffold can benefit from improvements.
