I've made the actual dashboard app display any and all available sensor data, and I've added a simple REST API to the app, so other sensors/devices can simply send POST requests with sensor, temp, and time. And a new sensor can be added via /sensor with a location. Nothing is authenticated yet (so don't try this on an Internet-connected device!), but it seems to be working well/efficiently.

I'm going to close out this issue; since I've made the dashboard app a full-fledged API now, I can simply send data from any kind of device (including my computers around the house, or a spare Pi A+ I have sitting in my drawer) straight through the network without dealing with MySQL.

I'm going to try to make logger.py a little more flexible, so you can configure it to be used with onewire sensors via Arduino over a USB serial connection, or directly tied into the Pi's GPIO.
