Unable to compile OpencvExample

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to run the make file given in the example
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

g++ -g -Wall -I /usr/include/opencv -L /usr/lib -lm -lopencv_highgui -lcv 
-lcvaux OpencvExample.o OvImageAdapter.o OpenCVImageAdapter.o -o OpencvExample
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcv
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcvaux
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [OpencvExample] Error 1


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 12.04, Opencv v2.3.1-7

Compiling the mex-file in Matlab

I'm attempting to compile the mex file with Matlab as specified in the
readme file.  However, when I run the command, I get this error:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\MATLAB71\BIN\MEX.PL: Error: Compile of
'OvStereoMatlab.cpp' failed.

I'm using Matlab 7.1, R14 on Windows XP, and working in the directory
containing OpenVis3D.

I see a 404 error, not the documentation

Not using the software, just trying to learn about it since it is mentioned
on the blog.

Why don't you copy the documentation onto code.google.com and link to that?
 Otherwise it doesn't look serious.
