jssid's Issues

Chome mobile has issues.

It plays. Kind of. With lots of noise.

The webaudio library I was using seems to no longer be maintained, looking at options/alternatives.

Make JSlint happy

We can now use grunt to package stuff up, but jslint is NOT happy about the code. At all.

Bring it up to it's spec, which will involve some work to bring it up to it's concept of modular code.

I  this project!

(Oh, so issue titles don't support emojis. Anyway, you got the message ๐Ÿ˜„)

Just want to say thank you! This is an awesome project and has been a huge help for me in understanding the SID format and the pros and cons of the various players.

I've wrapped the CPU emulation from this project in a Ruby gem (https://github.com/olefriis/mos6510) so that I could create tool for converting SID music to other formats (https://github.com/olefriis/sidtool). This is a silly project, but lots of fun.

I know that there are a lot of other players "out there", but having the code in pure JavaScript and having several engines side-by-side is incredibly cool.

Be a node module

There was always a desire to do this, but the recent switch to pico.js for audio low levels, has opened the door a little more on this, as it supports running in node to write to a local audio device.

There is a lot to do to get there, but should be possible.

Audible clicking in resid emulation

Thanks again for the great work.

I've been experimenting and noticed that the resid emulation outputs a noticeable continuous clicking sound. It's most noticeable on 'best' quality. You can hear it in parts of tracks which are quiet or silent, like the start of Azmagutah_6581.sid. It doesn't seem to happen with the other emulators (FastSID, TinySID) and is slightly less noticeable on 'better' or 'good', but still present.

Recent Chrome update broke sink.js.

Something about the new chrome update broke sink.js, which hasn't seen updates in a while. May need to dig up a new library to work with...
