We have already published a kube-apiserver for both linux and darwin (both amd64 only). (Same goes for etcd btw, see: https://storage.googleapis.com/k8s-c10s-test-binaries/).
kube-controller-manager probably will come in at some point, and when that's the case, I am pretty sure, we will support both platforms again. This is true for any other component we might support some time in future.
I guess we still need to see how we do versioning, when we upgrade the binaries, ... but that's a different story.
