Empty annotations don't save...

I haven't been in the code for ages, but I noticed that there is an odd bug. The "Update!" button does nothing when you click on it.

It seems as this was done so you could click away from the popup to close it if you didn't need it, but I think it'd be useful that, if it is the button that triggers the save, it should save regardless of if it is empty or not.

At least show something in the UI: an error message, grey it out when there's nothing there, etc. but having nothing isn't a good UI choice IMHO.

I wouldn't mind fixing this if @Manishearth doesn't have time.

Layout can be borked

Buttons aren't always laid out properly. Use a table, dummy.

Remove unnecessary content from AnnoTabe.crx

AnnoTabe.crx contains (a previous version of) itself nine times. Removing this makes the file significantly smaller.

When AnnoTabe.crx was compressed with 7-Zip with maximal (Ultra) compression and images were compressed as per #3, this saves 148 686 bytes, or 88.3% of the file size.

However, because the extension needs to be signed only you can make this change.

Persist checkbox not aligned correctly

The 'persist' checkbox is not aligned correctly. Minor tweak to CSS needed!

Annotation page "goto" button doesn't work when page is already open in another window

Say I have two Chrome windows open: one with the annotation tab list, and the other with a Google page that is anodated. When I click the "goto tab" button, nothing happens. When I close Google or move it onto the same window as the annotation page, it works.

I'm pretty sure no one reads these things anyway, so I decided to ramble on for a bit here. I'm not sure if you should be using a magical electricity box thingy if you don't understand the title (given that you speak English). :D
